As Mother’s Day approaches many people will be wondering just how to spend the special day.
There are lots of lovely places to visit in Norfolk with your mum this Sunday – here are a few of my suggestions.
How about taking your mother to Jarrold in Norwich for a spot of clothes shopping? And then heading to the Tea House on Elm Hill afterwards for some lunch upstairs?
In the evening, you could take your mother for a gin and tonic at the Eagle pub on Newmarket Road, also in Norwich, or perhaps to a film or show at one of our many excellent theatres and cinemas.
Those looking to head out of the city might like to try Sunday lunch at the Wildebeest in Stoke Holy Cross or perhaps for a walk at one of our many wonderful beauty spots.
At Cupcakes & Bubbles we have been preparing for Mother’s Day for sometime. We serve locally baked cupcakes and brownies supplied by Cupcake & Co, scones from Crusty Corner and tea from Nelson and Norfolk Tea Company.
So another option would be to spoil your mum with one of our traditional afternoon teas. Pop in to see us on Timberhill to see what we have to offer – we believe we are Norwich’s best kept secret!
Our gift shop has a wide selection of candles, chocolates and Champagne and with our Tiffany lamps, 1930s’ Champagne coupes and tea served on vintage cake stands, a visit to Cupcakes & Bubbles is like stepping back in time.
